Our Music

If you are hoping to find a DJ that has the type of music you want, we are a great choice! We have everything from Latin to R&B, and we are always happy to do a mix of genres as well. Our music catalog goes all the way back to the 1930s, and we have all the latest hot songs as well. Our songs are also FCC approved. Just let us know what you're looking for, and we'll be happy to set something up.

Helpful hints when choosing music for your event:

Choose a Variety of Songs

Keep in mind that you may have invited anywhere from 50 to 550 guests to your event and these guests will have different tastes in music than you, so choose a variety of songs from a variety of artists and types of music so that  your dance floor will be filled throughout the evening.

Choose Recognizable Songs

Remember that generally people will be more likely to dance if they recognize the music they hear.

Additional Songs Can Be Played

Generally during a 4 hour event, excluding cocktail and dinner music the Disc Jockey can play about 25 – 35 additional songs during the dancing portion of the event. During a 5 hour event, the number tends to be closer to 35 – 45 songs.

We Can Take Requests

You do not have to choose every song to be played. You may want to pick out just a few of your favorite songs and let the Disc Jockey take requests from your guests and play a variety of songs that will appeal to most everyone and will fill the dance floor.

Fill Out & Return Form in Time

Fill out and return all music for reception and ceremony one month, up to 3 weeks before wedding date in order to give us time to organize all the music for all the weddings that week. Last minute songs cannot be guaranteed.

Request Songs

If you do not find songs you want on the music lists, there is a request list of 10 songs on last page. We will look in our 46,000 song library for your songs. If we have it in our library there is no charge for up to 10 songs. If not, we can buy the songs for you at an additional fee or you can get us a recording on CD disc or email. More than 10 songs will cost additional fees.

  • How much are your mobile DJ service packages?

    Below is a short list of our basic prices and add-ons, but if you don't see something you need, please don't hesitate to give our office a call. We can do just about anything you need in the mobile DJ arena, from providing equipment, to full-service packages.

     

    *An additional travel or setup fee may apply, depending on location, or for events held outside the metro area.

    *(Downtown St. Louis locations include an additional fee due to set up difficulties and additional employees)*

     

    *Karaoke add on package included with above for an additional fee: $150.00 (Includes: music, TV monitor, extra microphones, props)

     

    *Projector and Screen add on package : $125.00

    (Includes cables and adapters to hook up into DJ system for audio for your video or slide show presentation - DVD Player or Laptop NOT Included)

     

    *Music System Operator (which includes microphone, lights and operator) $325.00 (up to 4 hours)

     

    *Up-Lighting call for prices

     

    PLEASE NOTE: The Karaoke, Projector, Screen Packages and Up-lighting are add on services and are not available without the JUKE Box Production Disc Jockey Service.

     

    Sundays and weekdays are cheaper than weekends, and we are also cheaper on Fridays than Saturdays. We have several places around town that recommend us that get special pricing. Since our prices vary all over town, please give us a call today for specific pricing! We offer special discount rates for events held at some area banquet centers and for volume bookings.   • Do you use high quality equipment?

    A DJ is only as good as the equipment they use, and at JUKE Box Productions, we use top-quality brand names. We use CDs for sound quality, and our system itself is considered deluxe. Brand names we utilize include JBL, SHURE, EV and QSC, many of the same names professional musicians use themselves. We won't skimp on quality because we know it makes a difference in the sound you are hearing.
